At Lockkeys Training we provide our 5 day locksmith courses every week (please see calendar below) and these are on a one to one basis. However these courses are modular so if you just required one or more subjects to cover then this could be done on the subject days scheduled again on a one to one basis.

Day Two: Upvc Doors, Multipoint Locks (MPLs) What They Are & Types, Opening Failed MPLs, MPLs Identification, Replacing MPLs (Including Obsolete Locks), Use Of Overnight Locks, Re-Alignment Of Upvc Doors (Keeps & Hinges), Replacing Upvc Door Handles, Sliding Patio Doors Use Of Patio Door Bolts, Replacing Euro Cylinders On Slave Doors (Theory only unless live job occurs)

Upvc Window Locks, What They Are & Types, Opening Failed Upvc Window Locks, Replacing Upvc Window Locks, Replacing Upvc Window Handles, Use Of Sash Jammers.

Day Three: Wafer Locks, How they work the different types and how to open them and replace including:

Cam Locks inc Garage Door Handles, Window Locks, Postbox Locks, Picking Using Jigglers, Picking Using Wafer Rakes, Picking Using Hand Picks (Snowman Pick), Cam Lock Drilling, Window Handle Bypass Using Mica, Ingersoll Lock Bypass, Ingersoll Lock Drilling.

Lever Locks: How They Work & Different Types, Using Try Out Keys 2/3/5 Lever, Using Overlifters, Using 2 in 1 Picks, Using The GJ Multigauge Pick,Identification Of Mortice Lock Make, Lock Drilling Techniques, Fresh Fitting Of Mortice Lock, Retrofitting Mortice Lock.

Day Four: Advertising Your Business, Proactive & Reactive advertising, websites which provider we recommend to use and why, content writing for websites and advertising, using social media Instagram and Linkedin, mentorship and locksmith whatsapp group.

Lock Fitting, Fitting of mortice locks from fresh, retrofitting of mortice locks, fresh fitting and retrofitting of nightlatches.

Day Five: Practical exam using locksmith job scenarios including lock outs, diagnosing upvc door faults, replacing multipoint locks etc. Re-covering anything that you wanted to do more work on and what your tutor thinks you would benefit from.
